Posted by The August 2025 meeting of the WNY Region SCCA was called to order by David at 7:32 pm on August 5, 2025. The meeting was held virtually via Zoom.
Minutes: A motion to accept the minutes from the July meeting was submitted by Jim and seconded by Dave. The motion was passed by acclamation.
Treasurer: The treasurer submitted his monthly report in absentia.
Membership: 197 members.
Club Racing: Nothing submitted.
Ice Racing: In 169 days.
Solo: 59 Drivers attended our event on July 6th. Despite the holiday weekend and the threat of unusually hot weather, good times were had by all.
A number of region members attended the Finger Lakes Tour event August 2nd and 3rd, with Dave taking home a trophy in his class.
In non-SCCA autocross, Andy and Tyson earned trophies at the UMI Challenge.

New Business: Plans for the region banquet are in the works.

Announcements: The September meeting will be cancelled. Our next meeting will be in October.
