Posted by The October 2020 meeting of the WNY Region SCCA was called to order by David at 7:41 pm on October 5, 2020. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the meeting was held virtually via Zoom Meeting.
Minutes: A motion to accept the minutes from the August meeting was submitted by Jim and seconded by Carrie. The motion was passed by acclamation.
Treasurer: The treasurer made his monthly report.
Membership: 250 members.
Club Racing: On hold.
Ice Racing: 40 days… maybe.
Solo: Successful Champagne Run – all entrants had 8 runs. Nice course setup by Joe. Successful conclusion to an abbreviated season.
NEDIV: On hold.
New Business: None submitted.
Old Business: None submitted.
Announcements: We are saddened to report that John Lawrence, local club racer, passed away.
Adjournment: A motion to adjourn the meeting was submitted at 7:47 pm by Jon and seconded by Jim. The motion was passed by acclamation.
